Each year, Boating Industry has received an increasing amount of nominations from individuals across all segments of the industry vying to support and shine a spotlight on female leaders across the board.

Once the nomination process closes, the editorial team at Boating Industry reads through every submission and eventually selects around 25-30 finalists, made up of women from all segments of the industry from retailers to manufacturers and everything in between, to represent that year’s Women Making Waves.

The Women Making Waves honorees are made up of women leaders across the entire recreational boating industry. From the executive level of manufacturers, associations, and dealerships to every other aspect of the industry, this group of women continuously strives to better their organizations and the industry as a whole.

Honorees are profiled in the June issue of Boating Industry, invited to a special networking reception at the IBEX Conference in Tampa in October, and recognized during the Top 100 gala at the Miami International Boat Show in February.
